Assessment pathway

FCE Mock Exams

Eight assessments across the course — from your starting check to the final simulation. Every paper adapts to the selected edition (General or Schools).

  1. 01

Starting Check· Baseline snapshot across all four FCE papers

A short cross-paper baseline. Don't revise — we use the result to plan your course.

  2. 02

    Module 3 Mini Exam· Reading P5 · Writing Article · Use of English P4 · Listening P2

A short mid-course check. Sit it in one go — no notes, no dictionary.

  3. 03

    Mock Exam 1· First full-format mock — Modules 1–4

Your first full-format mock. Sit it under exam conditions: no notes, strict timing.

  4. 04

Module 6 Mini Exam· Vocabulary, linkers, letter & Listening P4

Targets the lexical and cohesion work from Modules 4–6, plus a long-form listening.

  5. 05

    Mock Exam 2· Full-format mock — Modules 1–7

Second full-format mock. Compare your scores to Mock 1 — the gap tells you which papers to revise.

  6. 06

Module 9 Mini Exam· Full Speaking Test simulation

A full Speaking-only simulation. Pair up where possible; otherwise the teacher plays the partner.

  7. 07

Mock Exam 3· Full-format mock under timed conditions

Final preparation mock. Use strict exam timings — no pause between papers.

  8. 08

Final FCE Simulation· Full Cambridge B2 First — exam-day conditions

This is the dress rehearsal. Treat every paper exactly as you will on exam day.
